 E3 2017: Ubisoft Games Confirmed

E3 2017 seemed to be a memorable one for Ubisoft. The company made some big announcements for their fans. These games include the massively fan-favourite AAA game titles this year. Besides this, Ubisoft has announced a VR game from Elijah Wood’s film studio by striking a deal with Nintendo. Let’s see if this partnership deal brings any profit to the companies. The biggest games by Ubisoft include the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Origins and the Far Cry 5. Well, let’s check out more of them with their key details which you all need to know.

Far Cry 5


The next installment of Far Cry is set in Montana, America. The newly launched trailer gives a sneak peak to the suburbs of rural America. The mechanics of the game are done by Avid Games, including flying airplanes and also the aerial combats in the new Far Cry 5. There are limited details available about the main protagonist and the plot of the game. However, as depicted in the Far Cry 5 official artwork, the gameplay seems to revolve around a religious cult theme. You will also be getting two partners, i.e., a pet dog and a sniper buddy.

Far Cry 5 will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The release date of the game is expected to be 27th February, 2018.

Assassin’s Creed Origins


The next installment of the all-famous game franchise Assassin’s Creed has been officially announced. The game is expected to be prequel to the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Ancient Egypt. The protagonist of the game, Bayek will be showcasing his assassin skills which will be different from the previous Assassin’s Creed games. He will be seen raiding Egyptian tombs, swimming underwater, and various other skill building activities to accomplish the key mission objectives. The plot of the game is still not yet revealed. Still, the fans expect it to be better than the Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate which were not that successful.

The game is hinted to release in the month of October this year. The release is not yet official. The game is tipped at a retail price of Rs. 4,000 in India.

The Crew 2


The racing of Ubisoft is intact with the announcement of the next iteration of The Crew. The Crew 2 is a sequel to the 2014’s open world racing game, The Crew. This game offers variety of vehicle racing such as dirt bikes, cars, boats, planes and many more. This time you need to push your limits more and enhance the driving skills to become a pro. This game comes as a direct challenge to the Need for Speed: Payback, which was revealed by EA Games at EA press conference. The Crew 2 will stun you with its amazing graphics and visual scheme with crisp details.

You might indulge in off-road races as well as test your pilot skills with airplane races. These races will occur across the skies of Manhattan. The game does have a lot to offer and is definitely a treat for a gamer who loves the racing games. Beyond Good and Evil 2


The highly awaited sequel to the 2003’s classic Sci-Fi action game, Beyond Good and Evil is announced by Ubisoft. The release date of the game is not yet known. This game is a prequel to the original game despite being named ‘Beyond Good and Evil 2’. According the reports by the Verge, The game just got an exciting new trailer with the Fifth element vibe at the E3 2017. No further details about the game are revealed yet.

Skull and Bones


Skull and Bones by Ubisoft is naval combat based multiplayer game. It looks like a better version of the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.  Also, Ubisoft has taken their inspiration from the blockbuster movie franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean. This game is definitely a treat for the gamers who like seafaring games. The game is set to release in 2018. It will include fights with the fellow pirates across the seven seas. Also, you would face the Kraken as you embark on your quest to conquer the riches across the globe.
