List of Big Games Announced at E3 2018

Some big announcements, trailers and gameplay footages have been presented at the E3 2018. Nintendo, Bethesda, Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA and Sony revealed their new games and their trailers to create the hype among the fans. E3 wrapped up in the month of June itself and here are all the games that have been announced so far.

  1. Just Cause 4

The fourth installment to the Just Cause series is set to release on December 4 this year.  After the third installment which felt totally same as the second installment, the fourth one is bind with greater expectations. The gameplay trailer looks dark due to the change in the effects made to the weather in the game.

  1. Cyberpunk 2077

Microsoft unveiled the first look of CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. The trailer focuses on the massive city and the environment in which the game is set. The release date is yet to be announced.

  1. Wolfenstein: Youngblood

This game is most likely to come for PC and will be out in 2019. The game is the spinoff and sequel to the Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Youngblood is set in Nazi-controlled Paris somewhere in 1980s. It will be co-op game and that makes it all the more exciting.

  1. Devil May Cry 5

The most loved action game series is back with its fifth installment. Devil May Cry is announced for the year 2019. This sequel is set to release over a decade after Devil May Cry 4. The game will feature 3 playable characters, including Nero and Dante. The trailer is exciting and in the end you will get to see Dante riding a bike which looks quite badass.

  1. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2

A quite big splash was made by The Division 2 at the Xbox conference. They showcased the extended demo of the game that featured the new Washington DC environment. The contrast in the game seems pretty good and also that it has more open level design and new gears. The game is set to release on March 15, 2019.

  1. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Another addition to the Assassin’s Creed series is set to release on October 5 this year. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set in Ancient Greece period where the player is able to write his own epic odyssey or destiny to become a legendary Spartan hero. It will feature fights with bears, huge scale battles and naval battles as well.

  1. Resident Evil 2

This game will is the remaster edition of the original best Resident Evil game series. Resident Evil 2 will release on January 25, 2019. The environments in the game will be in 3D completely and not pre-rendered. It will adopt the same over-the shoulder style combat as was introduced in the Resident Evil 4 of the original series.

  1. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

This game is the sequel to the Rise of the Tomb Raider and will release on September 14 this year. This game is the final installment to the trilogy of Lara’s origin story. The first look if filled with action and a sure shot gripping storyline as the previous Tomb Raider games.

  1. DOOM Eternal

We have no information regarding the release date of DOOM Eternal. The game is the sequel to the brilliant DOOM Reboot. The DOOM slayer will be more powerful this time and the strength of the demons will increase along with the Cacodemons who will be armed this time. More information about the game will be available at QuakeCon this August in Dallas.

  1. Dying Light 2

The sequel to the Dying Light is out. The gameplay footage promises a scarier experience than the first installment. The story of the game is created in such a way that the decisions of the player will have effects on the world around the player. Dying Light 2 seems promising and will be available for PC. The release date is not yet revealed.

  1. Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon is back with its next installment. Forza Horizon 4 will be having a British setting that will constantly change seasons. The game will be available for PC as well and will release on October 2 this year. In the game, you can collect up to 450 cars.

  1. Battlefield 5

Battlefield 5 was announced a little before the E3. We experienced the big reveal of the game at EA Play. For more footage check this Nvidia gameplay. There will be an additional mode which will be introduced later this year, namely battle royale mode.
