List of EA Games Confirmed at E3 2017
Electronic Arts (EA) is one of the biggest companies in the gaming world. EA is basically known for its famous gaming franchises like Need for Speed, FIFA and Battlefield. Just as the previous year, EA was the first company to host a conference at this year’s E3. Though, the company itself is not a part of the E3. They instead chose to showcase their event via EA Play. This event was opened for the general public as well. The conference showcased the big announcements and games along with their trailers and the list of whole lot of upcoming games by EA. So today, in this article we’ll let you know the list of games unveiled during the conference by EA.
NEED FOR SPEED: PAYBACK
Need for Speed: Payback is the game that the franchise actually needed. The game has already created much hype among the fans. With this iteration, the company has taken a different take towards the racing games. Need for Speed: Payback definitely looks stylish, intense, fun and action-filled then its previous games. The game seems to be inspired by the Hollywood blockbuster movie franchise, Fast and the Furious. The game does have the elements which generates interest in the player’s mind. The cinematic gameplay of the game is just wow. It definitely looks promising. It will be releasing on the 10th of November, 2017.
ANTHEM – Project Dylan
Anthem is an open world Sci-Fi game developed by BioWare and published by EA. It is set in a gorgeous looking jungle world in which you can fly using Javelin’s jetpack. The combat in the game seems to be similar to Mass Effect, i.e., gun-based. In Anthem, you play as a freelancer or the explorers who leave the safety of their protected city to explore the outside world. Exosuit called Javelin is all you have to put on before leaving for the exploration. You can also enjoy the co-op adventures with your friends online. Anthem is slated to release in 2018. The date is not confirmed yet.
A couple of months of have just passed and the FIFA 18 is already been announced. The game has its own fan following and has created much of a hype even before its release. The ‘Journey Mode’ in the FIFA 17 had created havoc among gamers and that makes them even more excited for the FIFA 18. The ‘Journey Mode’ returns with Alex Hunter’s roads to footballing stardom continuing in this game. It is expected to release on the 29th of September, 2017.
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Star Wars: Battlefront II by Electronic Arts is a sequel to the 2015’s Star Wars: Battlefront. This new game will feature the new world as introduced in the new star wars movie. The content will be inspired from the prequel trilogies and the original movie. The game is being developed by DICE with an additional support of Motive Studios and Criterion Games. It will be having a singleplayer and a multiplayer mode. The plot of the game will begin in the months of Galactic Civil War and concluding around the massacre of Starkiller Base. The game thus, steps it up a notch than its predecessor.
A WAY OUT
A special mention is reserved for the game, A Way Out. The trailer of the game was showcased at E3. It seems impressive and appears to be a great game though. This game is from the makers of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It offers a co-op adventure where two mates try to escape a prison. And, after breaking out from the prison they start a journey together. You might end up loving this game as the best co-op adventure ever. EA has definitely taken a different take here with this game. The game will be available early by the next year, i.e., by 2018.
